Rob (as he’s known) is married to Joanna and they have 3 boys. This has kept him active and very busy! Rob has 30 years’ experience working for Home improvement and Maintenance companies, all locally based. He has worked with Andy for many years and this helped them decide to set up business together. Rob has refurbished 3 properties of his own installing kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories, windows and doors as well as doing all the decorating and maintenance works. His work ethic is second to none, his youngest son, gave him the motto “I don’t stop when I’m tired, I stop when I’m done!!”
Andy, also known as “Goody”, is married to Sarah and they have 2 young children. Family life keeps Andy very busy. Andy has 30 years’ experience working in the Home improvement business and has worked with Rob for well over half that time. Their joint knowledge and abilities is one of the main reasons for setting up business together. Andy has recently finished doing up his own home. This has included doing a loft conversion and installing a new kitchen. As his family grows, plans for an extension are also underway & Andy will do most of the work himself (when he has the time!) Andy is renowned for his attention to detail and has more tools than can fit on his van!
Ben is Rob’s middle son and has recently joined GL Property Maintenance Ltd after completing a work based apprenticeship in “Maintenance operations for occupations in construction” in other words “Property Maintenance”!! Ben has helped his Dad a lot with various projects at home over the past couple of years and this has helped him to decide his career path. Ben has a great sense of humour and this has come in very handy working with Rob & Andy. He gives as good as he gets!
Joanna is GL Property Maintenance’s office manager and also Rob’s wife! Joanna runs the office dealing with all the behind the scenes work. This includes manning the phone, paperwork such as quotes and invoices and dealing with all emails. This allows Rob and Andy to do their job without worrying about the administrative side of the business. Basically she tells them what to do and where to go!
